v2.1Latest

Weighted round-robin, Teams actions and a searchable docs site

A release focused on routing flexibility and finding answers faster. Weighted round-robin lets mixed-seniority teams share leads fairly, and the new documentation is searchable from anywhere with Ctrl/⌘ K.

  • Daily alert limits can be set per person instead of per workspace.
  • Visitor profiles load about 40% faster for accounts with more than 10,000 events.

Fixed

  • HubSpot owner changes made while a sync was running could be overwritten by Aurora.
v2.0Major

Real-time scoring, routing rules and a shared team inbox

The biggest release since launch. Scores now update in under 400 ms after every event instead of in a nightly batch, and qualified leads can be routed by territory, round-robin or rules to a shared inbox. Read the story behind the new model in What we learned rebuilding the scoring model.

New

  • Real-time scoring. Scores recalculate in under 400 ms after every event.
  • Scoring model v2. Weights by page type, a ×1.5 repeat boost within 24 hours, ×0.5 gap decay after 21 days and 10% weekly decay. Scoring
  • Routing rules and territories. Ordered rules with territory owners, round-robin and fallbacks. Routing
  • Shared team inbox with claiming and automatic escalation.

Improved

  • Every score now lists its contributing rules on the visitor profile.
  • Existing scoring rules were migrated automatically to the closest v2 weights.

Changed

  • Alerts are sent once, when a lead first qualifies, instead of on every score change above the threshold.
v1.9

Two-way CRM sync for Salesforce and HubSpot

Scores, statuses and owners now sync in both directions, so a change in your CRM updates Aurora and vice versa.

New

New

  • SAML SSO on all plans. Set up SAML SSO
  • Session policies: idle timeout and maximum session length.

Improved

  • SCIM provisioning (Scale) now supports group-to-role mapping.

  • REST API with secret-key authentication, cursor pagination and idempotency keys. API reference
  • Rate-limit headers on every API response.
v1.6

EU data residency

Choose where your workspace data is stored — Frankfurt (EU) or Oregon (US) — when you create a workspace. Existing workspaces can request a one-time migration through support.

New

  • EU data residency in Frankfurt, with a dedicated API host at api.eu.aurora.io. Data residency
v1.5

A rebuilt, faster tracker

The tracker was rebuilt from scratch. It keeps the same 8 KB gzipped budget and is about 30% faster to initialize on slow connections.

Improved

  • Events are sent with navigator.sendBeacon and batched within one second.
  • Active time on page now ignores hidden and unfocused tabs.

Fixed

  • Single-page apps using hash routing could record duplicate page views.
